Been a while. This post is different.
People keep complaining that the population is the problem. And it’s annoying. Not that I blame them; we as people are hardwired to like simple explanations for things. It’s not the population, China is the best counterpoint. And a loI guess nuclear weapons might be the best example though research doesn’t seem have to actually “stopped” as much as gone underground and we still have country trying to climb that ladder.t of other nations which are smaller, but still poor. It’s the repeated failure of institutions to convert human capital. It’s the repeated failure of investing in education and healthcare. Blaming any singular specific government would again be searching for the aforementioned simplest explanation. No, it’s deepeer. The institutions are set up in such a way, it’s impossible to fix it in this generation alone.
